INVITATION TO NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BID

GlobalInsurance Company (5.C) invites all interested, eligible, and pre-qualified bidders to participate in this National Competitive Bid for the construction of Gypsum and painting works (labor only) for a 28+G+9 mixed-use office and apartment building. The project is located on Bole Main Road, near Sur Construction Head Office in Addis Ababa, Sealed bids are required for submission,

Procurement exclusively for painting works (labor only).

INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS

1) Bidders must possess a valid GC/BC-5 or higher licente, with primary experience in the specified scope of work.

2) Interested potential Bidders are required to provide a renewed Trade License for the current fiscal year, a VAT registration certificate, Construction Certificate. TIN certificate, Tax clearance certificate, and all other relevant legal documents.

3) Global Insurance Company hereby announces that bid documents can be obtained from its office located in Addis Ababa, Gobena Abatigu St. (Somale Tera). Interested parties are invited to collect the Bid document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 200.00 (Two Hundred Bir). The bid documents will be available during office hours, starting from the date of this announcement.

4) Bid must be accompanied with a Bid Security of 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Bier) in the form of (CPO of Unconditional Bank Guarantee) which remain valid for 180 days from a bid opening date prepared in the name of Global Insurance Company (S.C) and must be submitted in separate sealed envelope marked "Bid Bond",

5) Bidders are required to submit their Financial Offer and Technical Offer in two separate wax-sealed envelopes. clearly labeled as "ORIGINAL" and "COPY." Both envelopes must then be placed in an outer envelope, which must be signed, sealed, and waxed. The outer envelope should be addressed to Global Insurance Company (5.C.) at the address provided below,

6) Bid must be delivered or deposited in the Tender Box situated at the office of the HR and Facility Management Department, before the closing date and time, Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date and time shall not be accepted.

7) The Bid will be closed on 26/02/2025 G.C of this announcement at 10:00 (afternoon local time in Ethiopia) and will be opened on the same day at 10:30 (afternoon local time in Ethiopiaj in the presence of Bidders or thek authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event af Global Insurance Company Head Office, Addis Ababa.

8) The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any part or all bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
