Farm Africa & on intemational non-governmental organization with a mission to reduce poverty permanently by unleashing African farmers' abilities to grow their incomes while managing their natural resources sustainably, and has been operating in different parts of Ethiopia since 1985 Now, therefore, Farm Africa would like to invite capable and eligible Contractors to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the Construction of Dega Kedida Community Pond located in Kedida Gamela Woreda. Kembata Zone,

Interested contractors/bidders who fulfilled the under-listed requirements may collect the bidding docurrients directly Farm Africa office or request via Getachewstormattica.org between December 02-16.2024

1. Legally registered as a Contractor with WC-7/GC -7 of above grades: and have renewed license for the current year

2. Registered with tax authorities and should be able to produce valid documentation including copies of their tax clearance papers

3. Bidders shall submit all the legal documents (renewed Trade License. Registration, TIN, VAT/TOT certificates).

4. Bidders shall clearly state their unit price and total price including VAT/TOT in ETB

5. Bidders who wish to participate shall submit the required key personnel and machinery according to the bid Datasheet.

6. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.

7. Bid shall be valid for seventy-five (75) calendar days after bid opening.

8. Bidders are required to accompany their bids with ETB 50,000.00 (Bid security).

9. The amount of bid secunty is as stated in the table above and shall be in the form of an unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for Seventy-five (75) calendar days plus 28 days. Insurance bonds are not acceptable.

11. Interested bidders should submit their Technical and Financial proposals in two separate folders duly marked "Technical proposal for the Construction of Dega Kedida Community Pond" and "Financial proposal for the Construction of Dega Kedida Community Pond." They should also submit their sealed Technical and Financial proposals with Bid security in Hard Copy.

12. The Technical and financial document must be delivered to the bid box prepared for this purpose at the Farm Africa country office on or belore 17 December 2024, 2:00 PM. and opening at 2:30 PM. Late bids will be rejected.

13. The Farm Africa Procurement Committee will open the Bids document with the presence of bidders or their representatives. A qualified contractor will be considered based on their responsiveness to the requirements of technical and financial evaluation results. Finally, the winner will be notified through the firm's address.

14. Farm Africa Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids at any time without assigning any reason or reason whatsoever.
