1. Background Village Enterprise Fund Inc. hereinafter referred to as 'Village Enterprise' is a non-profit organization that works to end extreme poverty through entrepreneurship and innovation. Village Enterprise has supported people living in extreme poverty to set up successful micro-enterprises since inception in the year 1987, impacting the lives of over one million individuals. Village Enterprise has its headquarters in the US with subsidiaries in: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

Village Enterprise was duly registered in Ethiopia in the year 2022 as a Foreign Organization in accordance with Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019 with country office of Addis Ababa and operations in Melkadida within Melkadida refugee camp (Somali Region).

the financial and other operational documents for the calendar year 2024 are kept within Melkadida Office. The Village Enterprise's fiscal year ends on June 30. In addition, the financial statements are prepared in accordance with the International Public Service Accounting Standard (IPSAS).

2. Eligible audit firms are invited to participate by submitting the following:

➤ The firm's profile

➤ Trade license (Renewed for the current year) TIN and VAT registration Certificate

➤ Certificate of Competence from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).

➤ Evidence of previous experience in providing audit services in similar organizations.

➤ Separate technical and financial proposal that clearly indicates price with VAT

Audit firms that meet the requirements are kindly requested to submit in person their technical and financial proposals from August 25, 2024- September 7, 2024, during working hours to the following address in a sealed and stamped envelope.
