The International Rescue Committee invites sealed bids from all eligible bidders for Supply of GI pipe & Fittings, Stationery Materials and Light vehicles

INVITATION FOR BID

The International Rescue Committee, hereinafter referred to as “the IRC”, is a non-profit, humanitarian agency that provides relief, rehabilitation, protection, resettlement services, and advocacy for refugees, displaced persons and victims of oppression and violent conflict.

The IRC – Ethiopia Program has been working in Ethiopia since 1999 and is implementing integrated community-managed programs aimed at improving the quality of lives and recovery of livelihoods of disaster-affected populations through promoting individual participation, strengthening institutions and emergency response.

IRC Ethiopia Program has been operating in Gambella, Benishangul Gumuz, Tigray, SNNPR, Sidama, Somali and Oromia regions on refugee assistance and livelihood since its inception.

IRC invites sealed bids from all eligible bidders that are qualified, technically competent and have valid license for current Ethiopian FY 2015 to set up Master Purchase Agreement and Master Service Agreement for Supply of GI pipe & Fittings, Stationery Materials and Light vehicles for 2 years.

Tender will be closed as per the date and time mentioned below for respective categories of items; and Bid will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representative as per the date and time mentioned below.

Note: Interested vendors are required to have an office in Hawassa.

IRC shall not be bound to accept the lowest priced bid, or any bid submitted, and any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

The International Rescue Committee reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any or all bids.
