TEARFUND IRELAND Ethiopia office is a registered International Non Governmental Organisation (INGO) in Ethiopia with registration No.4144.Tearfund Ireland believes that the local church as a development ally has a significant and essential role to play in ending poverty and injustice. Through partnering with local partners at grassroots level, greater impact and sustainability can be achieved because of the benefits of local knowledge and the cultural relevance of our local partners. Tearfund Ireland main activities in Ethiopia is enabling poorest households to develop resilient livelihoods and promote the development of sustainable rural economy to reduce hunger and income poverty.
The Tearfund Ireland Office was initiated in Ethiopia by Tearfund Ireland in 2017 to provide capacity development, monitoring, coaching and financial support for the work Tearfund Ireland supports in Ethiopia through local partner organizations. The Tearfund Ireland Office supports the work of local partner organizations through the provision of programmes grants and technical support.
Tearfund Ireland supports work in four disaster prone districts of SNNPR (Damaot Gale, Damo Sore, Sodo Zuria and Boloso Sore) through partners . In addition, Tearfund Ireland also work with a local network of 32 agencies work in Benishangul Gumuz, Addis Ababa, Diredawa, Oromia and Amhara Regions. We support two zones in SNNP and a number of other zones in Amahra, Oromia, Benishngul etc. regions through a network of agencies.
Currently, Tearfund Ireland supported projects in Ethiopia are contributing towards the ongoing national endeavours of improving the food security and disaster resilience in the country in line with the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP 1 & GTP 2) and SDGs 1, 2, 5 and 13. All supported projects have capacity building components. These include trainings given to beneficiary communities, project staff and government counterparts at the grassroots level. They address issues of economic empowerment of the community as well deficiencies and shortcomings in skills and competence in institutional setups.
Tearfund Ireland hereby invites qualified and interested Audit firms to conduct annual accounts audit for December 5 31, 2022 yearend. Interested Audit firms are requested to submit technical and financial proposal with the following documents to participate in the bid process for annual Audit service, physically to our office until 27th of January 2023, 4:00 PM.

Copy of Certificate of compliance from the office of the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).
Copy of renewed Trade license,
Copy of TIN and VAT certificate
Copy of ACCA Certificate
Technical and Financial Proposal
Estimated Time frame required to complete the audit
Minimum 5 years work experience with NGOs and including in IPSAS accrual-based accounting.
Prof of latest evidence from at least 3 organizations
Deliverables:
Draft audit report for review by the management
Final audit report in 3 copies both soft and hard copy
