National Competitive Tender for Auditing Services

Lion Insurance Company S.C. (LIC) is inviting sealed tenders from eligible audit firms for the provision of external auditing services. The scope of the audit includes the examination of the Company's books of accounts for General Insurance, Life Insurance, and General Window Takaful Operations for the period covering three (3) budget years (2024/25-2026/27),

Submission Requirements:

Interested audit firms are requested to submit both technical and financial proposals to undertake this engagement. The technical proposal should include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Company profile;
• Organizational structure and qualifications/experience of management:
• Demonstrated experience in the auditing field, with a particular emphasis on the insurance sector, encompassing both life and general insurance;
• Overall staff profile of the firm;
• Detailed profiles of the audit team members assigned to this engagement;
• Estimated timeline for completing the audit,

Copies of the following documents:

• Renewed Trade License
• VAT Registration Certificate
• Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate
• Renewed Business License
• Chartered Audit Certificate from the Federal Audit General Agency
• Any additional relevant professional membership certificates

The financial proposal should include:

• A copy of the Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover;
• A tender security of ETB 20,000.00 in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Cash Payment Order (CPO);
• Any additional security fees as required.

Lion Insurance Company S.C. reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, in whole or in part. All technical and financial proposals must be sealed in separate envelopes and delivered to the following address no later than 5:00 PM on November 20,2024.
