The architectural design and the various construction technologies are absolutely stunning and express the ingenuity of mankind. Civilization signifies the use of science and technology long before the civilization of the western world. This means science was used a long time ago in the continent of Africa to carry out various development activities. Therefore, it’s not new. However, at a later stage, the use of science and technology was fossilized and hence vibrant development process ceased. Because the school knows science is not alien to Africa, it strongly believes that it is possible to revive and resurrect science and technology to be part and parcel of the newly emerging African continent. It is preferred to name the School Yeha Science and Technology because of the significant historical evidence showing that science and technology have been part of the culture and civilization of our nation Ethiopia.
