Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the production team in the spice blending, filling and packaging processes.
Assure Production Team maintains compliance with company standards, product quality and safety programs.
Schedule production staff and manage team work load.
Train and develop production team members.
Develop process improvements that reduce production time and/or reduce processing costs.
Maintain safe work environment for all team members.
Responsible for implementing cleanliness, testing and food safety procedures.
Ensure product is in compliance with company standards and production goals are met.
Assist in employee performance reviews.
Complete all required production documentation.
BA in food science, nutrition, culinary any relative degree
Excellent communication skills
Experience leading a team
Food production experience.
Self-motivated
Ability to prioritize projects
Sense of urgency; ability to respond rapidly.
